Dear UFL Players,
A scheduled maintenance update will take place on May 29, from 07:00 to 09:00 UTC. The server will be unavailable during this time, and matches will be inaccessible from 06:45 UTC.
Please note that while the server is expected to be back online by 09:00 UTC, minor delays are possible. If the game is not accessible immediately after 09:00 UTC, rest assured it will be available shortly.

The Divisions Reset
All players will be placed into new divisions based on their final standing in the previous ranked season:
Bronze 6 → Bronze 6
Bronze 5 → Bronze 5
Bronze 4 → Bronze 5
Bronze 3 → Bronze 5
Bronze 2 → Bronze 5
Bronze 1 → Bronze 5
Silver 3 → Bronze 5
Silver 2 → Bronze 4

Upon entering a new division, players will receive:
A reward for reaching that division
Rewards for all lower divisions as well
Ranked season rewards will be distributed based on the division held at the end of the season.

Gameplay
General Balancing
Adjusted gameplay balance to favor attacking play.
Shooting
Aiming System:
Players with lower attacking stats now find it harder to shoot accurately into the top corner, while those with higher stats can do so more effectively.
Basic Shot:
Initial ball speed now corresponds more accurately to shot power.
Shot spread has been reworked — now affected by player speed, position, foot strength, distance to goal, and shot angle.
Defence
Improved agility in defensive mode (jockey).
Collision & Physics:
Fewer fouls, falls, and yellow cards.
More non-foul collisions causing players to lose balance.
Animations
Added fake shot animations during receiving and dribbling.
New turning animations with varied speed transitions (e.g. BaseRun → JokeySprint).
Added back-ball interception animation.
New GK animations for Catch, Deflect, and Miss.
Updated defensive mode (jockey) animations.
Goalkeeper
Fixed erratic behavior outside the penalty area.
Fixed unnatural dive reactions to deflected shots and rebounds off the post.
Player Movement & Mechanics
Added unique run styles for Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappé, Haaland, De Bruyne.
Stabilized passive tackles — fewer misses.
Increased probability of serious injuries.
Improved grounded through pass logic.
Players can now tackle opponents performing aerial skill moves (rainbow flick, sombrero).
Updated stamina settings for several players.
Referee logic reworked to follow the diagonal system.
Linesmen now correctly raise the flag for offsides.
Fixes
Ball no longer phases through the goalpost and incorrectly triggers a corner.
Fixed soft-lock after goal celebration off-camera.
Landing point of clearances now displays correctly.
Addressed awkward turning after fake shot on pass receive.
Free Kicks:
Fixed incorrect animation when shooting near post.
Shot power now scales properly with button press.
Shots under 50% power are now more effective from dangerous areas.
Pass targeting is now restricted to wall players (random backward passes removed).
Fixed issue where halftime could end during a corner, goal kick, or offside cutscene.
AI Assist
Defence
Increased backline width inside the penalty box.
Decreased reaction radius to opponent sprints.
Reduced pass interception range.
Widened gap between defence and midfield lines.
Active Containment
Significantly improved target selection and positioning during passes or opponent dribbles.
Pressing
Reduced stamina drain when using the “Constant Pressure” defensive style.
Individual Tactics
“Defensive Position” settings now more clearly affect player behavior, including how far they move and how tightly they mark.
Attacking AI
Attackers given more freedom to position themselves for passes.
Goalkeeper
Improved GK positioning during flank free kicks.
Set Pieces
Corners:
Better player selection and positioning in the box, on defence.
Fixed attackers bunching into a single point during corner routines.
Fixed midfielders incorrectly joining attacks with “Stay Back” tactic enabled.
AI Bot
Difficulty Levels
All bot difficulties reviewed.
Two new levels added.

Legendary
Difficulty progression is now smoother and more realistic.
Significantly improved AI behavior at lower levels.
Improved AI logic in defensive covering scenarios.
Set Piece Behavior
Corners:
Defenders mark the most probable targets.
In attack, bots now vary routines, including short passes, and are better at choosing targets for crosses.
Goal Kicks:
Defensive bots select likely marking targets.
Attacking bots make optimal pass decisions and mix up play.
Fixes
Bot-controlled defenders no longer misposition.
Fixed bot fouling caused by user spamming cover button.
GK bots no longer pass to opponents during goal kicks.
Audio and Visual
Improved replay visuals — more dynamic camera work, unobstructed key scenes.
Enhanced controller vibration when opening skin packs.
Better audio for ball impacts across stadium objects.
Enhanced sound design for transitions in pause menu.
Fixed some lines of commentary.
Improved net visuals.
Added new cutscene for second yellow card and sending off.
Fixed various stadium visual bugs.
Enhanced base photos of players.
Updated the replay for clear offside situations.

PVE Quests
Challenges now available in multiple modes: Competitive (Ranked and Showdown), Playoffs.

Training Mode
In Free and Free Kick modes, ball roam zone extended to the whole half-pitch.
GK is less restrictive within the box in Free mode.
12 new free-kick shot points added.
Fixed defensive player collision during set-pieces.
