Dear UFL Players,
A scheduled maintenance update will take place on October 30 from 07:00 to 10:00 UTC. The server will be unavailable during this period, and matches will be inaccessible starting from 06:40 UTC.
Please note that while the expected server reactivation time is 10:00 UTC, minor delays may occur. If the game is not accessible immediately, rest assured it will be available shortly.
Gameplay
New Ball Physics System:
Updated ball flight behavior with realistic air resistance effects and refined Magnus and knuckleball mechanics.
Bounce logic has been redesigned. The way the ball reacts on impact now varies depending on the type of surface it hits (static or moving).
Sliding and rolling are now more realistic — friction is accurately simulated, with smooth transitions from sliding to rolling, as well as visual and physical reactions to uneven surfaces of the pitch.
Animation Improvements:
Increased animation variety during aerial duels, as well as reduced execution errors.
Improved turning animations for players without the ball.
Added new animations for ball avoidance.
Enhanced goalkeeper movement animations while in possession of the ball.
Expanded animation set for flair shots and reduced the frequency of failed attempts.
Dribble Run:
Improved player agility — players now respond faster and more accurately to directional changes, which makes dribbling on the move feel more natural and flexible.
Input responsiveness logic has been refined. Transitions between directions feel smoother, and momentum is preserved more effectively.
Ball control while accelerating and turning has been refined — dribblers now maintain optimal spacing and rhythm, allowing for more effective and dynamic attacking play.
Dribble Strafe:
Goal-oriented movement — players now consistently face the opponent’s goal while using Dribble Strafe, eliminating unwanted turns and helping maintain attacking momentum.
Animation selection optimization. The animation system has been reworked to deliver smoother and more accurate responsiveness, eliminating delays previously resulting in lost ball control.
Active ball progression — players now push the ball forward more effectively, creating a more dynamic and realistic tempo.
Dribbling parameter impact. High dribbling stats now result in noticeably sharper responses to stick movement. Dribbling skill level directly influences precision and control.
Seamless transitions between regular dribbling and Dribble Strafe modes. Switching between them now happens smoothly and without interruption. Movement feels continuous, and player control is more precise than ever.
Passing:
Improved logic for Through Passes and Ground Passes — pass success rates now reflect the player’s Pass Accuracy stat more clearly.
Rebalanced one-touch passes at sharp angles for more realistic and predictable outcomes.
Crosses into the box have been adjusted.
Added Curve stat impact to both shots and passes.
Fixes:
Fixed the issue where the goalkeeper wouldn’t auto-clear the ball when an opponent was nearby.
Improved logic for high throws. The ball now travels over the nearest opponent and toward a teammate.
Added protection against accidental throws toward the player's own goal when pressing Y/🔺.
Fixed the issue where goalkeepers wouldn’t respond to stick input during a missed penalty.
Fixed the sharp turn animation bug during penalties.
Fixed the dribbling issue where players could overrun the ball, creating the impression that they were moving through it.
AI Assist, Bot
Attack:
Forwards now make more frequent runs in behind the defense.
Midfielders join attacks more actively during fast breaks.
Improved player selection during Trigger Run (LB/L1) and Call For Support (RB/R1).
Defense:
Defensive freedom has been increased — players now mark more dynamically, stepping out of formation to stay closer to their assigned opponent.
Defenders now stay with opponents’ runs in behind for longer.
Better positioning when marking attackers making runs in behind.
Midfielders now drop back more actively to support defensive actions.
Both defenders and midfielders now respond more actively to low crosses from wide areas.
Goalkeeper:
Improved positioning during forced rushes (Y/🔺).
Goalkeepers are now more aggressive when closing down through balls and passes into the box.
Better positioning during crosses.
Set Pieces:
Players return to their positions faster after corners.
Defensive bot behavior has been significantly improved:
Bots can now use active ball tackles based on match context.
Bots can now trigger slide tackles under certain conditions.
Bots can now perform lofted through passes to a teammate making a run.
Improved aerial duels — bots now select better passing targets when winning headers.
Improved bot behavior when reacting to deflections and contesting loose balls.
Fixes:
Fixed an issue where bots could remain idle during matches.
Fixed bot player switching errors.
Divisions reset
Ranked season rewards will be distributed based on the final division at the end of the season.
All players will be reassigned based on their final rank from the previous season:
Bronze 6 → Bronze 3
Bronze 5 → Bronze 3
Bronze 4 → Bronze 3
Bronze 3 → Silver 6
Bronze 2 → Silver 6
Bronze 1 → Silver 6
Silver 3 → Silver 6
Silver 2 → Silver 6
Silver 1 → Silver 6
Gold 3 → Silver 3
Gold 2 → Silver 3
Gold 1 → Silver 3
Platinum 3 → Gold 3
Platinum 2 → Gold 3
Platinum 1 → Gold 3

Players will receive:
a reward for joining their new division.
rewards for lower divisions.
Bronze Division is now reserved for new players.
Once a player reaches Silver Division, they can no longer drop back to Bronze.
Rewards for division promotion during the season have been adjusted.

Some players have been removed, with full compensation provided.
Player attributes updated
Attributes of existing Mastery 1–Mastery 2 cards in clubs remain unchanged.
Attributes of newly obtained Mastery 1–Mastery 2 cards have been updated.
Attributes of existing base cards in clubs have been updated.
Post-match penalty shootouts have been added to Showdown mode for matches ending in a draw after regular and extra time. Matches in Showdown mode can no longer end in a draw.
Showdown rewards have been updated.
Playoffs rewards have been updated.

Kit clash protection has been added. When two identical kits are selected, the opponent is automatically assigned another available kit.
Replay skip logic has been improved. The first goal by each team requires confirmation from the scorer to skip. Later goals can be skipped freely.
The stadium store now features not just static images but also video previews.
Animations and effects for pack openings have been improved.
Fixed several sound-related bugs, including commentary issues.
Fixed several lighting and environment issues across stadiums.
Fixed several UI bugs and crashes.
